We have been working hard to give our customers as much peace of mind as possible with the ability to request a variety of documents from visitors as part of the sign in flow.
We’re happy to share that you can now do this with the release of the document upload field.
Visitors can upload or take a new photo from their phones (if they are signing in via QR code) or take a photo of a required document if they are signing in on the iPad. The administrator receives a notification to review the visit and verify the document(s) and either approve or decline the visitor. Easy as that ✅

Capturing industry-specific documentation:
Do you need to ensure visitors or contractors hold specific licenses or accreditation before they enter your site? You now have the ability to capture and record things like a forklift or heavy vehicle license, trade certifications first aid certificates, and more.
Proof of Vaccination Status:
The concept of a “vaccine passport” has been floated since the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, and globally we have begun to see the implementation of these types of mandates.
You can now give your SwipedOn sign in system another layer of protection by requesting that visitors share proof of their vaccination status as they complete their sign in.
The power is completely in your hands: you can decide if you wish to include verification at all, and also choose if you want to enable approvals or not.
We are currently working to integrate SwipedOn with local government programs (where possible/available). By doing this, we can remove the need for third-party tools, meaning verification is done automatically via the official platform, so your sign-ins stay as seamless as possible.
In order to swiftly and efficiently carry out verification, SwipedOn must be integrated with each official API. This allows SwipedOn to pass data directly to the API and validate it against a source of truth.
The first integration for the New Zealand Ministry of Health platform is live now and can be implemented via the vaccine validation field. This provides visitors with the ability to scan their vaccine pass when signing in. New Zealand vaccine passports are automatically verified using the Ministry of Health integration, this will return an approval notification if the pass is valid or invalid when approval notifications have been enabled.
Proof of Personal Protective Equipment:
Make sure visitors are properly protected while on your premises. Request a photo of hard hats, face masks, steel cap boots, high visibility clothing, or whatever regulations your industry requires.
