Before we implemented SwipedOn, we were using a paper visitor book.
The main issue we faced was that it was time-consuming for visitors to manually fill in the book.
Then, we had a load of old paper visitor books to store, and it was nearly impossible to go back and check records.
Additionally, someone had to track down the visitor host to let them know their visitors had arrived, which made the whole process quite clunky. We figured there had to be a smarter way to handle things.
We were looking for a simple, electronic solution that was very quick and easy to use for both visitors and admin staff.
The main functionality we needed was a way to immediately communicate with visitor hosts to let them know someone had arrived to see them.
The best part about SwipedOn for us is the automatic host notification, as soon as the visitor signs in, they are automatically sent a notification.
We found this, along with the automatic visitor badge printing, has streamlined the whole process for us.
We have reduced wait times for visitors and can now look back and search records easily.
The main feedback from employees has been that they find it a lot quicker and a more efficient way of doing things, as well as giving our reception a much more professional look.
